Hello Puzzlers! Halloween is behind us, and the holiday decorations are out! I hope you are all staying warm and cozy!

Last month, I was lucky enough to do a wooden puzzle by JaCaRou Review. My It was so much fun!

As I stated in an earlier blog, Anie Maltais created JaCaRou out of her love of jigsaws and creates and designs many of the images. They are based here in the west of Montreal and are quickly gaining popularity. The images are unique, brightly colored, and have an interesting texture in their designs. If you love color, then you will love these!

We recently received their new collection, and I am in love! The one that I completed was a joy to put together. - C'EST SI BON! ALL THAT SWEETNESS, ANIE MALTAIS

JaCaRou Puzzle - 1000 Pieces Puzzle

JaCaRou puzzles have a very distinct style of art, unlike any other brand. When you see a JaCaRou puzzle, there is no mistaking it. I really love this about the brand. Their marketing is very smart in that they have really made themselves unique. The only thing that I will say is that if you are not a fan of that style of image, you might have trouble finding one you like.

The box is slimmer than some other brands, which I appreciate. They don’t take up as much space on the shelf. The image is clear on the box front and is not covered by logo or branding. There was almost no puzzle dust. The pieces themselves are a nice thickness and a bit larger than the average. Larger than a Ravensburger, but smaller than a White Mountain. They are also very glossy! I am not always a fan of glossy pieces, but for some reason, it worked with the size of the pieces. They are cut in a random grid shape, which gives some nice variety. The pieces snapped together quite nicely and were not too loose when I had to move them around. It was easy to see when I had the piece in the right place.

JaCaRou Puzzle Pieces

Honestly, this is an easy brand to recommend. Anie and the team at JaCaRou offer great customer service and are very involved in social media. They care about their customers. The puzzles are unique and colorful and a nice solid quality.

As a side note, JaCaRou also offers a line of Diamond Art which we carry. I have yet to try one but some of my friends just love them.

Let me know what you think of your JaCaRou puzzles!
